Mahindra has introduced the Scorpio Classic Boss Edition as part of its festive sales push, featuring bold updates in design and comfort. This special edition stands out with its new two-tone leatherette seat covers, premium finishes, and a distinctive blacked-out front grille. Equipped with Mahindra’s mHawk 2.2L diesel engine, it retains the rugged appeal of the Scorpio while offering enhanced comfort and luxury elements to cater to festive buyers. This launch aims to bolster Mahindra’s market position in the competitive SUV segment.
Scorpio Classic Boss Pricing and Variants
The Scorpio Classic is offered in two variants: the base Classic S priced at Rs 13.62 lakh (ex-showroom) and the feature-rich Scorpio Classic S11 at Rs 17.42 lakh (ex-showroom). Despite plans for a new S5 trim that never came to fruition, Mahindra is focusing on the Boss Edition to cater to its core demographic.
New Features of the Boss Edition
“The Boss Edition is highly likely to resonate with target buyers and is expected to garner a good reception,” Mahindra representatives noted. The Boss Edition will be available exclusively in a Napoli Black shade and will include several distinctive features.
Prominent changes include a generous use of dark chrome around the front grille, headlights, fog lights, bonnet scoop, door handles, and rear tail lights. Additional enhancements consist of a front bumper extender and a silver skid plate, while the ORVMs will sport a unique carbon fibre finish.
Accessories included with the Scorpio Classic Boss Edition are door visors and a rear bumper protector. Inside, the vehicle features a black theme for seat upholstery, complemented by a dual-tone Black and Beige dashboard. The package will also offer neck cushions and pillows for added comfort. Notable features include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a rear parking camera, automatic climate control, and cruise control.
